Repairs to exterior walls

Where necessary we will remove and dispose of damaged exterior boards and / or structural supports and replace with magnesium oxide (MgO) cladding board.

New exterior finishes

We use a stucco finish, specifically formulated for park homes. The finish is highly weatherproof and comes in a variety of colours to complement your park home.

Re-painting (also known as colour-washing)

First we would remove and treat any moss or mould (if needed) and any defects on the wall surface would be rectified. Your home would then be painted using an exterior paint, specially formulated for park homes – it is essential that the correct paint is used to ensure you comply with your GoldShield warranty.

Re-cladding

First the old exterior finish would be removed and disposed of and if needed, additional studwork could be added to strengthen the structure; insulation could be upgraded at this point if required. A breather membrane could be added if necessary before the home is clad. 

A choice of claddings are available including:

• Magnesium oxide (MgO) cladding board with a choice of stucco coloured finishes (park homes only)
• CanExel cladding (available in a range of colours)
• Timber cladding
• Cedar cladding

Insulation

Upgrading insulation to improve u-values will help to keep your home cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter and help to reduce your fuel bills.

It is important that the exterior of your park home or lodge is maintained regularly. Regular maintenance will not only help to ensure your home stays looking good but will also help to prevent any deterioration to the exterior walls and help to ensure the structural integrity of your home.
