Omar has built a reputation for delivering exciting, on-trend new models and keeping their extensive range fresh and up-to-date and they certainly didn’t disappoint at the recent World of Park & Leisure Homes Show, Stoneleigh.
Displaying twelve park home and lodge models, which effectively felt like a small village, Omar impressed visitors with a showcase of styles to suit different tastes and budgets. From the traditional Colorado to the contemporary new 2019 Ikon, cottage style with the Elveden Cottage, open-plan with the Newmarket and even a custom-designed home demonstrating bespoke possibilities. All this and topped off with a stylish all-new contemporary park home, the Image at a great affordable price point. Omar put on quite a show!
Here’s a bit more about the three new 2019 models unveiled at the show:
Affordable, contemporary and fresh, the all-new 2019 Image park home stands out for its curb appeal and offers a perfect blend of style and practicality.
The striking exterior with its clean, contemporary lines, benefits from CanExel cladding detail to the boxed-out windows and around the recessed, feature front door which sits under a roof dormer.
Inside the accommodation comprises a central kitchen-diner, large lounge, two bedrooms (the master with dressing area and en-suite) and a family bathroom (there’s also the option for a utility room and study on selected floorplans).
The front door opens into a semi-enclosed area where there’s a practical boot seat and coat hooks, which then leads into a large kitchen-diner. The ceiling here is vaulted, which along with the simplicity of the interior design, provides a feeling of light and space. An extending dining table with chairs sits to one side of the room, and sleek contemporary kitchen units in two tones of grey with brushed steel ‘T’ bar handles house an array of integrated appliances; everything you need whilst providing the perfect canvas to add your own touches.
Through double doors, the lounge has a light, spacious feel thanks to the vaulted ceiling which continues from the kitchen-diner, and three large windows which allow plenty of natural light. Two comfortable 3-seater sofas, hand-painted furniture with solid pine tops and a black glass, wall-mounted electric fire with recessed shelves to either side dress the room.
The bedrooms and bathrooms continue the same style found in the main living areas. Both bedrooms include simple, yet stylish furnishings and accent colours created by a feature wall with wall-mounted headboards, curtains and scatter cushions add character to the rooms; pale blue for the master bedroom and a soft gold for the second bedroom. There’s plenty of wardrobe space too so no need for clutter.
The bathroom and en-suite again mirror the design style. Contemporary vanity units and simple white sanitaryware, alongside luxurious touches such as Porcelanosa tiles finish the look.
A mainstay of the Omar range for many years now, the Ikon is a contemporary and iconic park home with design flair and quality throughout.
The new 2019 model, whilst largely retaining the exterior styling and floorplan of its predecessor, benefits from a new contemporary colour scheme with vibrant accent colours. The accent colours, seen in the lounge footstools and kitchen splashback, are available in a number of colour options, so whatever your taste, the Ikon can be tailored to fit!
To the exterior, long slender windows, French doors (to the lounge), feature cladding detail and a central dormer framing a feature front door all come together to create a modern and sleek look.
The layout, which includes a central kitchen / diner with a lounge separated by double doors, provides the option to open up the living space or to have separate rooms. A contemporary colour scheme of greys, creams and pale turquoise flows throughout.
High gloss doors with aircraft style top-lockers, two skylights and a large breakfast island make a bold statement in the spacious fitted kitchen with integrated appliances.
The lounge has a modern chic feel; two large sofas, footstools with storage compartments, stylish light oak furniture that coordinates perfectly with the flooring, designer lighting and a contemporary wall-mounted fire all come together to create the perfect space to relax and unwind.
Through into the bedrooms, large wardrobes with sliding doors provide plenty of storage and cross padded and buttoned, wall-mounted headboards (commissioned especially for the Ikon), frame the beds making a striking internal feature. Off the master bedroom the luxurious en-suite includes a large shower with overhead deluge and handheld showerhead. The family bathroom is equally luxurious and includes a contemporary styled bath.
Originally launched in celebration of the Royal Wedding, the Middleton is a fully furnished and affordable traditional park home, available in a variety of standard layouts.
The striking exterior has twin roof dormers, curved bay windows with Georgian bar and a feature front door framed by two half round columns.
Inside, stylish interior design and a beautiful soft colour scheme flows throughout. The main living space is available with an ‘L’ shaped lounge / dining area or separate rooms, so there’s a floor plan to suit, whatever your preference.
The bright and spacious fitted kitchen includes a full array of integrated appliances, and with plenty of cupboard and worktop space, it’s practical and functional too.
Through into the bedrooms, and the co-ordinating headboards and fully lined curtains in soft tones create a lovely ambience. The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe providing plenty of hanging space, and a beautiful en-suite with quadrant shower cubical. The second bedroom also provides ample hanging space with fitted wardrobes and sits conveniently next to the family bathroom.
