Omar’s all new 2014 Heritage, a top of the range luxury park home, was awarded the prestigious Park Home of the Year Award by Park Home & Holiday Caravan Magazine at their Annual Dinner last weekend during The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show. With around 50 homes displayed at the show entering the competition, Omar was particularly delighted to not only be awarded the best home award, but also 3rd prize for the Colorado park home – a firm industry favourite since it was launched in 1966!
New for 2014, the show stopping exterior features a large extended front dormer in Gale Grey Canexel supported by fluted pillars, and full drop bay windows that allow light to flood into the home. The feature composite front door with glazed side panels makes an impressive and welcoming entrance into the home and the sandstone effect corner quoins add that touch of elegance.
With stunning new interior design and a choice of intelligent floor layouts, the luxurious interior with vaulted ceilings throughout makes an impact as soon as you walk in through the door. Rooms include: an open plan kitchen / dining area, spacious cross lounge, fully fitted study, utility room, luxurious family bathroom, master bedroom leading into a dressing room and en-suite, and guest bedroom.
The spacious fitted kitchen is designed to accommodate everything you could need and includes: a Rangemaster full range cooker with wok attachment, griddle and matching splash back and hood; a cream American fridge-freezer that even has a drinks and ice dispenser; a granite worktop and up-stand and a stylish Belfast sink. The elegant dining area has a striking London Marble Company, Mocha Marble dining table and leather chairs, lit by a beautiful crystal effect Chandelier. Going through to the lounge you will be met by deep plush carpets, full-length linen curtains, feature wall niches and a Regent style mink lounge suite to sink into.
When it comes to the bedrooms and bathrooms you’ll be bowled over by the sheer luxury. Features include: an indulgent slipper bath with free-standing waterfall tap; free-standing French style bedroom furniture; a fully tiled wet room en-suite and a large walk-in dressing room to the master Bedroom.
Omar Group Sales & Design Director, Peter Leary who led the team that designed the new 2014 Heritage said: “We were thrilled to win the Award this year. Last year, reflecting on where the market was, we chose a range of affordable homes to display at the show; this year we thought we were in contention to win the award with our stunning new Heritage, but to have actually done so is fantastic. This award is for the 220 people who work at Omar, we are a hard working team with a vision. The design and quality of our homes is a credit to everyone!”
Omar Group Chief Executive, Dean Westmoreland commented: “I am really pleased for Peter and the rest of the team, we genuinely believe we are offering a best in class product backed up by outstanding customer service and after sales. This is how we delivered 20% growth last year, despite it being a tough market and why we are forecasting 40% growth this year. I would just like to thank Pat, Jo and Mike who organised The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show, it was a great show for us as a Group and I look forward to returning next year.”
With its distinctive exterior and interior design, it’s easy to see why Omar’s Heritage was voted by the public Park Home of the Year 2014.
