In a recent, last minute interview with the NCC’s membership magazine, The Business, Dean Westmoreland, Omar Group Chief Executive, was asked to explain the unprecedented success and strong growth of the Omar Group.
The Omar Group’s success has not been unnoticed in the industry and following the NCC’s recent Caravan, Camping & Motorhome show where Omar’s Inspiration lodge was chosen as the centerpiece for the industry’s new promotional campaign Freedom to Go, and where the Omar Group stand drew in the crowds with Omar’s award winning Heritage park home and the re-launch of Wessex’s much imitated and eagerly awaited luxury lodge, the Gîte, it comes as no surprise that Dean was approached.
So what’s the formula to the group’s success The Business asks? The article published in the Spring 2015 issue of The Business opens with ‘The policy is no passengers on the Omar express’. Dean explains from his beginnings with Omar in 2010, the dynamics of the market and the strategy and ethics behind the decisions made and the direction taken. What becomes clear is that customer service is at the heart of Omar and the success and growth of the group, a combination of Dean’s astute eye for business and a highly motivated team that take pride in producing the best park homes and luxury lodges in terms of design, quality and final finish.
