Wigmore Lakes was established from land that was previously used for farming – the owners were looking to diversify into leisure and tourism, so they turned the land over to a fishing lake. Working on the success generated by the venture, planning consent was obtained for lodges, touring caravans and camping. The proposal was to develop the fishing lake area to capitalise on the demand for holidays within the area.

Wigmore Lakes teamed up with OPDS for technical park development and Omar Park & Leisure Homes for the supply of lodges.

OPDS worked closely with the owners and advised on various accepts of the development, including planning advice, road construction and a bio-mass heating system.
