Wood burner stoves offer a cosy and warm feel to homes and are growing in popularity, however, until recently, installation in BS 3632 park homes and lodges was not recommended. Working alongside Omar Group, Morsø have addressed concerns and issued instructions specifically for installation in BS 3632 structures. Morsø is now in a position to offer wood burner stoves and recently installed one in an Omar Ikon park home at Haulfryn, Willows Riverside Park in Windsor, Berkshire.
Morsø is at 170-year-old Danish manufacturer of wood burning stoves, with a reputation for innovation, style and quality. In 1915 they received the coveted title of Purveyor to the Royal Court, and have since developed into a global design company, bringing warmth and comfort to homes around the world.
The stove installed, a Morsø 4043 model, has contemporary styling and functional design which makes it very versatile and suitable for most homes. The stove has a lovely, warming view of the fire, is easy to top-up with firewood and even has a handle that always remains cool so there’s no risk of scalding. In addition, the stove meets the strictest environmental standards and there’s no risk of discolouration to walls, even with a snug fit, making it particularly suitable for residential or holiday homes.
A retrofit is available (subject to survey), in Omar Group park homes and lodges and installation is simple and quick, taking under a day.
Chris Tyler, Morsø Business Development Manager said: “Morsø is the leading stove manufacturer for the park home industry and we’re proud to be working with a top UK park home manufacturer. It was also a pleasure to install a wood burning stove on such a beautiful park, Willows Riverside Park in Berkshire.”
