Heading up a small team, the successful applicant will be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing all product parts and consumables. Working closely with the Production Manager, this position will involve ensuring all parts are in the right place at the right time, to efficiently build Regal’s range of premium leisure homes. Supported by the management team, the Stores Manager will manage all day-to-day issues, and the achievement of targets, driven by area KPI’s.

The primary requirements of the position are:

  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely (correct PPE and safe working practices)
  • Responsible for training of the stores team
  • Controlling all inside storage and outside yard areas to 5S principles
  • Making sure all delivered parts are booked in and issued on time to the production team
  • Ensuring the team works to the correct processes
  • Maintaining stock integrity, with quarterly stock takes and weekly continuous counts
  • All parts are stored neatly and safely in the correct areas both internally and externally
  • Promote continuous improvement ideas from the team
  • Proactive in the elimination of waste
  • Carry out problem resolution
  • Identify the need for, and control overtime
  • A good timekeeper
  • A willingness to go the extra mile to support the team
