We are currently seeking an Office Cleaner to join the team at our Head Office and main manufacturing facility in Brandon, Suffolk.
Job Title: Office Cleaner
Responsible to: Office Manager
Hours of Work: 2 hours a day, 07:30 to 9:30, Monday to Friday
Place of Work: This position is based at Brandon in Suffolk
Main Purpose of Job: The Office and Show Home Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the main offices and show homes are kept clean and tidy. This role requires a high standard of cleaning to present a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.
Areas of Support
Office Cleaning
- Vacuum and dust all office areas, including desks, chairs and common areas.
- Clean windows, ensuring they are streak-free.
- Clean and sanitise the kitchen area, including countertops, sinks and appliances.
- Clean and sanitise toilets, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Show Home Cleaning
- Clean and present show homes to a high standard, ensuring all areas are immaculate for potential customers.
- Dust and polish furniture, clean windows, vacuum carpets, and mop floors as needed.
- Ensure bathrooms and kitchens in show homes are clean and sanitised.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
General Duties
- Maintain cleaning supplies and request new stock when necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as required by the Office Manager.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, particularly in office or showroom environments, is beneficial but not essential.
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible attitude towards work and willingness to adjust cleaning routines as needed.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving cleaning equipment.
