Omar was once again proud to sponsor Lindholme Lakes Country Park for their Summer Angling Festival (27^th to 31^st May).  The festival is one of the largest festivals of its kind to be held in the UK and attracts the cream of British Match Fishing as well as anglers from as far afield as the Netherlands! With all lakes on-site being used throughout the week and with generous pegging and exceptional pay-outs, it’s become a key event in the angling calendar! 

Lindholme Lakes Country Park, set in the beautiful countryside of South Yorkshire, is a luxury lodge park with a difference.  With award-winning, high quality fishing lakes, the park attracts world-class anglers from the UK and further afield such as five-time World Champion, Alan Scotthorne MBE. There’s a choice of ten pools for both match and pleasure anglers, all of which are available for competition and event bookings. The new match record stands at an impressive 495.14lb and the lakes contain carp weighing well over 20lb! Lindholme Lakes Summer Angling Festival is a prestigious event in the fishing calendar attracting world-class anglers. Running over the course of five days, over 55 anglers competed for an impressive prize fund of around £20,000.
