Omar Group Welcome New North of England Sales & Showground Manager
Omar Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Sophie James as North of England Sales & Showground Manager; Sophie joined Omar on 30thSeptember 2019 and is based at the group’s Hull facility, New Weldon House.
Sophie’s appointment follows the successful launch of the group’s new showground at their seven acre facility in Hull. The new showground has seen an increase in customer demand and activity making the addition of a Sales Manager, customer meeting facility and specification room, essential in order to deliver customer expectations.
Sophie brings with her a wealth of experience having recently run her own business, she has also worked for Willerby in the role of National Lead Generation Manager. Sophie’s skillset includes client management, account acquisition and business development, event management, managing a showground and marketing; skills which undoubtedly will see her hit the ground running!
Sophie has a first class honours degree in Law as well as a BA honours in Criminology from the University of Hull.
Sophie will be responsible for the North of England region which encompasses Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and Northumberland as well as managing the Hull Showground.
Sophie commented: “I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to work for Omar Group; I’ve admired the quality, design and style of their park homes and luxury lodges for a number of years and I’m extremely proud to now be part of the team. I look forward to managing the new Hull showground and customer facilities, as well as getting out on the road visiting parks in the north and understanding the needs of my new customers.”
