The past 3 years has seen the Omar Group deliver substantial organic growth, more recently they have added to this organic growth by entering into a collaboration agreement with Finnish Log Homes which will see Omar manufacture their range of chassis and skidded lodges and log cabins.
To further expand their operations Omar Group has bought Wessex Park & Leisure Homes, Dean Westmoreland Chairman of Omar Group commented: “When I carried out my initial market research on this industry prior to acquiring Omar Park Homes Limited the competitor business that impressed me the most was Wessex Park & Leisure Homes. Following the decision by the Directors and shareholders of Wessex Homes Group Limited to cease operations in Dorset. Omar Group will manufacture Wessex products at its main 180,000 square foot manufacturing facility at their headquarters in Brandon, Suffolk ensuring that 50 years of Wessex Heritage continues. A full review of the Wessex range of homes will take place over the autumn and winter and a new 2014 Wessex park & leisure homes range will be introduced to the marketplace early in the New Year.
